I remember Dan at the Axis demo when Chad Muska came thru to skate. Dan was mad excited and was having plenty of fun. That was 10 years ago. We have both been skateboarding for a long while now. We were not as close then as we are now. I would say it took a little time for us to get used to each other. I remember when I really started to pay attention though- One day Dan ask me for my email. I give it to him and he sends me his raps......''Skate Raps''- I got his email a day later and I downloaded one of his songs to my Ipod. I didn't listen right away but when I did I was kind of amazed that this quiet skater was rapping so hard- After that we started to hang out and make music together- One day he informs me that he is starting a skateboarding company called Estilo. I remember how pumped he was. He has been running it ever since then. Im not sure how old the company is but he has a pretty good team and he travels often to promote the company.Dan is still rapping, skateboarding, traveling,eating good, and spending time with his family. He just moved out to Brazil and I wanted wish him the best of luck- Peace Dan (Dan is on the left. Light Show July 4-I am enjoying my summer thus far. I am staying busy and I am smiling all the way through. I haven't stopped shooting and I don't think I will. If anyone is still out there........This is for you.
Photography should not try to prove anything, but it can convince when it is not trying to convince anyone- It cant change the world but it can show what the world is like,especially as it changes-
